old school friends
Hi,
I was just reading through the messages posted here and thought it would be a good way to get in touch with some of my old school pals. I went to Buxton Girls' school from 1979-86. If any of you read this, please email me, I would love to hear from you and find out what happened to everyone,
look forward to hearing from someone

Hello Beverley,
yes I went to Buxton Girls School, too! I was there from 1983 ish til 1989 (I think) when we moved south.
I think I remember you, there weren't that many Beverleys at the school. You had dark red curly hair I think. But I have a terrible memory I confess! Are you in touch with any other ex- BGS ers? And what are you up to these days? Despite all of strivings against Mr Coopers efforts to teach me German, I ended up in Germany ( I was I think one of the worst in the class at German, sometimes I think if he could see me here ....!) I am married to a German and we have three children. I am currently teaching music and am about to start teaching English at a Steiner School. I often think of Mrs Kubiak, did you have her? She was a great teacher, my personal role model!
Anyway I am not regularly online as it were, but it would be great to hear from you.
